The kitchen is the ‘heart’ of the home. It’s where all characters, energies and interactions gather and engage. 

My immediate environment, where children, noise, energy and movement combine, became the stimulus for my art practice. 

Here I stood still and silent amongst an immeasurable torrent of life. 

I played with rubbing back the surface, repeating, distorting and layering in an attempt to depict this energised space.
